Ignition

This poem speaks to the moment just before motion—

when resolve gathers, old markers loosen,

and the courage to begin begins to sound within.

It is an invitation to step forward, not loudly, but decisively.

 

Ignition

 

Something new begins.

We begin something new.

Something new has already begun.

 

Are you ready?

Give the signal.

The sound of ignition reaches the heart.

 

There are things seen only by moving.

There are things known only by acting.

There are things tested only when set in motion.

 

You must release the old signposts.

Because it is your path, you must begin.

Step forward onto the new road you envision.

 

Ignition toward a dream is joy.

Ignition toward a dream is coming to know oneself.

Ignition toward a dream resonates with the pulse of the world.

 

Something new begins with something small.

It is good to let your heart leap at the new.

Something new will open a new world.

 

Ignite.

Break away from preconceptions.

Ignite.

Be freed from fixed ideas.

Ignite.

Create new values.
